Acumatica is seeking a Senior HR Specialist for our Montreal office. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting day-to-day human resources operations and enhancing employee experience initiatives. This position is responsible for administering employee benefits, maintaining accurate HR records, supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, addressing employee inquiries, and handling employee relations matters. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams such as IT and Finance, while also supporting recognition programs and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in HR administration, benefits, compliance, employee relations and a passion for providing exceptional support to employees in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What will you do:
Administer company benefits including health insurance coverage, retirement services, and leave practices.
Collaborate with benefit providers to keep track of benefit needs and trends.
Maintain employee records in the payroll system and administer applicable changes.
Administer the payroll process semi-monthly.
Maintain employee records in the HRIS/HRMS databases.
Maintain the employee intranet.
Onboard new employees and assist them with their required documentation.
Ensure compliance with provincial employment standards.
Provide employment letters and process employment verification requests.
Act as primary contact for employee and manager inquiries regarding their employment, company benefits, or other HR-related inquiries.
Manage employee relations cases.
Take part in recognizing employee accomplishments by administering the company recognition programs.
Administer employee initiatives as needed.
Assist employees with the offboarding process.
Communicate company announcements and updates as needed.
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure a smooth onboarding and offboarding process.
Collaborate with the Finance team regarding HR-related costs and expenses.
Perform general HR-related tasks to support employees as needed.
