Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercardās rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Business Experimentation consultants advise executives on business decisions using Mastercardās industry-leading predictive analytics SaaS platform, Test & LearnĀ®. They work with customers to identify key priorities, then design and run business experiments to establish which ideas work and how to deploy them.

Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact
ā¢ Manage deliverable development and workstreams on projects across a range of industries and problem statements
ā¢ Contribute to and/or develop strategies and programs for regional and global clients by leveraging data science tools including Test & LearnĀ®
ā¢ Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner
ā¢ Provide analytical and technical subject matter expertise and drive client success through Test & LearnĀ® adoption and competency
ā¢ Support client with the preparation and measurement of campaigns, including 1) collaboration with product and marketing managers to ensure audiences align with campaign objectives, 2) monitoring campaign performance metrics and generating detailed reports with key insights on campaign effectiveness, and 3) analysing post-campaign data to identify areas of improvement and providing recommendations for optimising future campaigns

ā¢ Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations
ā¢ Plan, organize, and structure own work and that of junior project delivery consultants to identify effective analysis structures to address client problems using Test & LearnĀ®, synthesize analyses into relevant findings, and create impactful storylines
ā¢ Lead team and external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management
ā¢ Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital and solution development
ā¢ Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-day project management across client projects, and mentor junior consultants
Qualifications
Basic qualifications
ā¢ Undergraduate degree with analytical experience in consulting, analytics, or data science
ā¢ Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders
ā¢ Experience in campaign analytics
ā¢ Analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills, including the proven ability to analyze large amounts of data and synthesize key findings and recommendations
ā¢ Logical, structured thinking and affinity for statistical and numerical analysis
ā¢ Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
ā¢ Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
ā¢ Ability to communicate effectively in English
ā¢ Eligibility to work in Australia
ā¢ Ability to travel to client sites on a semi-regular basis
Preferred qualifications
ā¢ Additional relevant data and analytics experience in data modeling and database management (e.g., SQL), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), or time series analysis and segmentation
ā¢ Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties
ā¢ Experience coaching junior delivery consultants
ā¢ Relevant industry expertise
ā¢ MBA or masterās degree with relevant specialization (not required)
