Job Description:
The DG Operations Manager at dÅTERRAās Lindon Fulfillment Center (LFC) is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the organizationās Dangerous Goods (DG) program. This role ensures regulatory compliance across all applicable transportation modes and operational processes while serving as the central coordination point between operations, data governance, global trade compliance, research and development, and external regulatory partners.
The DG Operations Manager develops and maintains DG policies, oversees classification and documentation standards, and supports operational teams with guidance related to packaging, shipping, and compliance requirements. This role also drives training, regulatory alignment, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the DG program is scalable, compliant, and operationally effective across all doTERRA sites.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of doTERRAās Dangerous Goods (DG) program across operations.
Maintain accurate DG classifications and regulatory data across internal systems in coordination with Data Governance and Global Trade Compliance.
Serve as the internal subject matter expert for DG regulations, advising operations, international markets, carriers, and project teams.
Review new products to determine DG status and provide guidance on packaging, labeling, shipping limits, and bulk shipping requirements.
Author and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for products manufactured by doTERRA.
Coordinate with Research & Development to ensure required testing and regulatory documentation are completed for DG classification.
Manage relationships with external regulatory partners and service providers supporting the DG program.
Oversee DG-related documentation updates, including specifications, Bills of Material, and change control requests.
Coordinate annual DG training and recertification programs to ensure compliance across designated teams.
Partner with warehouse, fulfillment, manufacturing, and support teams to ensure DG compliance while supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in Dangerous Goods compliance, logistics, fulfillment operations, or regulatory operations.
Strong knowledge of transportation regulations related to Dangerous Goods (e.g., DOT, IATA, IMDG).
Experience supporting regulatory compliance programs within supply chain or manufacturing environments.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple departments and external partners.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to regulatory and operational inquiries.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems used in fulfillment and logistics environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelorās degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience managing or supporting Dangerous Goods compliance programs.
DG certification or regulatory training related to hazardous materials shipping.
Experience working with fulfillment center operations, packaging standards, and international shipping requirements.
Lean Six Sigma certification or experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
