The Senior Director, Technology, Pall Medical is accountable for defining and executing the long-range technology, innovation, and product development strategy as  well as driving sustaining activities to ensure the vitality of the Pall Medical portfolio. This role integrates expertise in medical device development, filtration technologies, regulatory compliance, and systems engineering with leadership responsibilities across multi-disciplinary and multi-site technology organizations. The successful candidate has a track record in developing medical devices and bringing them successfully to the market.

This position reports to the VP/GM, Pall Medical and is part of Pall Medical located at the Harbourgate site and will be an on-site role. 

What you will do:

• Develop and own the global R&D, technology and engineering strategy for Pall Medical
• Monitor and build on external trends and shape innovation strategy.
• Oversee global design, development, validation, and transfer-to-manufacturing activities as well as Life-cycle Management and product care activities
• Partner with manufacturing and operations on DfX (e.g Design for manufacture, sustainability, reliability etc) to drive readiness and scalability.
• Lead global R&D portfolio governance.
• Manage resource & capital allocation and multi-year investment strategy.
• Lead a global R&D and engineering organization and build talent pipelines.

Who you are:

• Proven years experience in medical device development and filtration technologies.
• PhD or advanced degree in Life Sciences or Engineering
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA QSR, MDR/MDSAP.
• Demonstrated success leading global R&D organizations
• Strong collaboration and influence capabilities.
