The Executive Assistant, Danaher Corporate Latin America, provides high‑impact, confidential, and proactive executive support to the President of Danaher Latin America and other Senior Danaher Corporate Regional leaders. This role operates in a highly matrixed, fast‑paced, multi‑country environment and plays a critical role in enabling leadership effectiveness, operational rhythm, and regional governance across Latin America.
The Executive Assistant serves as a trusted partner to senior executives, acting as an extension of leadership to manage complex calendars, communications, travel, meetings, and coordination across Corporate, Platform, and Operating Company stakeholders. Success in this role requires sound judgment, business acumen, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs in a dynamic global organization.
Key Responsibilities
Executive & Leadership Support
- Provide direct executive support to the President, Danaher Latin America, and selected Corporate/Regional Leaders.
- Act as a trusted partner, managing competing priorities while ensuring seamless executive operations.
- Anticipate leadership needs and proactively resolve issues before they escalate.
Calendar, Travel & Meeting Management
- Own complex, multi‑time‑zone calendar management, prioritizing critical business, governance, and external engagements.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel across multiple countries, including visas, logistics, and expense management.
- Plan and support executive meetings, regional leadership forums, board meetings, offsites, and senior‑level reviews.
Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
- Draft, review, and manage executive communications (emails, presentations, internal messages) with high professionalism and discretion.
- Coordinate closely with Corporate, HGM, Platform, and OpCo Executive Assistants to ensure alignment and execution.
- Interface confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders across Latin America and globally.
Operational & Administrative Excellence
- Support regional rhythm of business.
- Maintain confidential documents, reports, and leadership materials with utmost integrity.
- Support immersion activities, and leadership transitions within the region.
- Process expenses, contracts, approvals, and administrative workflows in line with Danaher policies.
Culture, Judgment & Governance
- Operate with the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Apply sound judgment in sensitive matters involving executives, associates, and business decisions.
- Champion Danaher values, DBS mindset, and Inclusion & Belonging principles in day‑to‑day interactions.
Qualifications & Experience
Required
- 15+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a multinational, matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated experience supporting VP‑level or C‑suite leaders.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese required; Spanish strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules, travel, and logistics across multiple countries and time zones.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and prioritization capability.
- High level of discretion and comfort handling sensitive, confidential information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience in Corporate or Regional roles within large global organizations.
- Prior exposure to Latin America multi‑country business environments.
- Familiarity with executive governance processes and leadership cadence.
- Experience working within life sciences, healthcare, industrial, or technology organizations.
