You will be responsible for driving dayâtoâday manufacturing execution by coordinating a production team to deliver safe, highâquality, onâtime products with strong productivity performance. Acting as a key partner to the Supervisor and Production Leadership, this role ensures operational discipline, team engagement, and compliance with regulatory and quality standardsâwhile supporting a positive, highâperforming shopfloor culture.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Productions Operations and is part of the Production Operations team located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callahan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be an onâsite role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Coordinate and lead production team activities to achieve key SQDP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity) metrics, working autonomously within established procedures and practices
Manages daily Tier 1 and Tier 2 performance management, including tracking, reporting, and escalating KPIs as required
Create a positive employee environment by promoting engagement, clear communication, accountability, and adherence to Beckman Coulter values
Ensure quality and GMP standards are met, clearly communicated, and embedded in daily work practices
Prioritise and allocate work effectively to meet customer demand and production schedules
Review and issue BHRs and associated documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely booking of production activities
Support compliance activities, including time & attendance accuracy, annual leave management, deviation support, NCPR closures, and customer complaint investigations
Maintain strong regulatory and audit readiness, supporting GMP, Quality Systems, and site compliance expectations
The essential requirements of the job include:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent with 6+ years relevant experience
Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing or regulated production environment (e.g., medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals)
Developed expertise in a variety of operational work processes, typically developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience.
Proficient in operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, including knowledge of navigating file systems and basic use of Word and Excel packages.
Strong knowledge of Quality Systems.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environmental Requirements
No routine travel required
Manufacturing environment with standard regulated cleanroom / production floor conditions
Ability to lift, move, or carry materials and equipment in line with site manual handling guidelines
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Supporting deviations, NCPRs, or customer complaint investigations in a regulated environment
Demonstrated capability in problem solving is an advantage such as exposure to Danaher Business System (DBS) or other continuous improvement / tiered management systems
Proven experience coordinating or supporting daily production activities, including KPI tracking and tiered management routines
Working knowledge of GMP and Quality System requirements, with experience handling production documentation (e.g., BHRs)
Proficiency using manufacturing or business systems (e.g., ERP, QMS, or production reporting tools)
Experience using Oracle or an equivalent ERP system is an advantage.
