The Quality Control (QC) Analyst - BV is responsible for the QC testing of products and raw materials in accordance with relevant procedures, the review of results to provide a free to fill status, system release and generation of COAâs in a timely manner, as appropriate.
This position is a 2 year contract and reports to the QC Manager/Team Lead and is part of the Quality Department located in the heart of the countryside just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, OâCallaghan Mills, Co. Clare and will bean onsite position.
Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 4pm to Midnight; Friday 3pm to 10pm

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform Quality Control testing of products and raw materials in line with approved procedures, reviewing and approving results to support timely status release, system release, and the generation of Certificates of Analysis (CoAs).
Review and release Batch History Records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
Generate, review, and report analytical data, including the investigation and followâup of Out of Specification (OOS) results, and the preparation of NonâConformance (NC) reports or deviation documentation, as required.
Participate in a rotation of laboratory support duties, including equipment calibration, temperature monitoring, laboratory maintenance programmes, management of consumable stocks, housekeeping activities, and autoclave waste management.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Level 8 degree (Science or relevant technical degree is desirable)
Good working knowledge of GMP & Quality & Safety Standards
Familiarity with laboratory equipment
Excellent record keeping and high accuracy and attention to detail
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Laboratory equipment e.g. analytical balances, pH Meters, Pipettes.
GMP & Quality & Safety standards.
