What Youâll Do
Youâll perform light duty work as an intermediate-level auto tech. Youâll improve your skills in a supportive environment. Other responsibilities include:
âWill be responsible for maintaining a fleet of 40+ auction lot vehicles. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on all company vehicles, including oil & filter changes, battery replacements, suspension work, brake work, etc. (as vehicle needs arise).
Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs and vehicle inspections on wholesale inventory
Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement and testing and repairing of starting and charging electrical systems.
Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems.
Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system.
Perform maintenance on equipment.
Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts.
May up fit new vehicles with necessary equipment
Complies with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash.
Who You Are
Youâre a quick learner â especially when it comes to cars and how they work. Youâre a team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work. You also have the following qualifications:
Required:
1 or more years of related work experience.
The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
Safe drivers needed; valid driverâs license required
Preferred:
A high school diploma or GED
Current ASE Certifications: G1, A4, A5 status when required by leadership.
