The Pharmacy Technician – Inpatient, Part Time works in a high-volume pharmacy at Main Campus (H building), supporting a wide range of service lines including general inpatient, oncology, sterile products, operating room, and pediatrics. This role involves rotating through multiple pharmacy areas while performing daily responsibilities such as medication delivery across the hospital, carousel operations, and triaging requests (including phone and MAR message management). The position requires a high level of activity and collaboration across departments, with opportunities for cross-training and potential advancement into specialized areas such as IV, ambulatory, specialty pharmacy, or homecare based on competency and department needs.
A caregiver in this position works part-time varying hours from 6:45am to 3:15pm or 2:00pm to 10:30pm (3 weeks of days and one week of 2nd or
straight seconds). Further requirements include every third weekend.
