We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as Food and Beverage Supervisor. This individual is a proactive solution seeker, they lead by example, don’t settle for the normal, and continuously encourage and engage their team members. They will assist in providing the leadership required to achieve the fiduciary and quality goals for the Food and Beverage operation. They will ensure the effective and efficient operation of all facets of the Food and Beverage operation, while improving on the current model and be responsible for managing in a manner consistent with the mission, operating philosophy, standards, and values of DoubleTree by Hilton Denver and Pyramid Global Hospitality.
Your Role:
Oversee F&B service in Grounded, the Hub, Characters, and Knife & Board. Resolve employee and guest-related problems. Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
Use proper cash handling and accounting procedures.
Display andutilizeknowledge of F&B products, including menu, ingredients, beer, wine, and liquor.
Display andutilizeguest serviceskills, andprovide training and guidance to staff on service standards and procedures.
Ensure the effective maintenance and cleanliness of the F&B operation, performing general cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards.
Assistmanagement with beverage controls and other administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, ordering, attendingmandatory meetings.
Perform in the capacity of any position supervised as needed.
Demonstrate positive leadership characteristics, inspiring associates to meet and exceed standards.
Perform all other dutiesdeemednecessary by management.
What are we looking for?
Able tostand and walk for extended periods.
Ability toperform tasks that require bending, stooping,reachingandliftingitems up to 50 pounds.
2-3 years of experience inF&Bwithprevioussupervisory experience.
Flexible scheduling including evenings,weekendsand holidays.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
