Overview
IDEXX is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to serve as an analytical and operational partner to our Sales teamwho willhelp them sell smarter and faster within the veterinary software market. This role is data-driven and rep-facing, focused on deliveringthe reporting, pricing guidance, andDeals Desk readiness coaching that enables ourSalesorganization to perform at scale across independent practices, multi-site groups, and corporate veterinary networks. This is an individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of analytics, sales process, and operational execution.
This position is expected to be onsite 8 days per month at the IDEXX Global Campus in Westbrook, ME.
What You'll Own
Analytics & Reporting
Build,maintain, and continuously improve sales reporting and dashboards that give Sales leadership andSales Professionalsclear visibility into pipeline health, performance trends, and attainment
Analyze sales data toidentifypatterns, surface insights, and make proactive recommendations that support territory performance and revenue growth
Serve as a go-to resource for ad hoc data requests from Sales Managers andProfessionalswith ability totranslateraw data into actionable guidance
Maintain data integrity and accuracy across Salesforce and other revenue-facing platforms; partner withRevOpson data governance and hygiene standards
Pricing & Deal-Shaping Support
Coach Sales Professionals on Deal Desk guidelines, pricing policies, and discount thresholds sotheycan approach deal construction with confidence and clarity beforeengagingthe formal Deal Desk processĀ
Serve as a sounding board forSales Professionalsearly in the deal cycle ā reviewing proposed deal structures,identifyingpotential red flags, and helpingthempressure-test their approach against current pricing guidelinesĀ
HelpSales Professionalsunderstand deal economics and trade-offs so they can walk into Deal Desk conversations well-prepared, particularly for complex multi-site group or corporate consolidator opportunitiesĀ
Monitor deal patterns and surface recurring questions or friction points toRevOpsand Sales leadership, helping refine guidelines and improve rep readiness over time
Compensation Operations Support
Support the operational data needs that enableaccurateandtimelycommission plan payouts includingmaintainingdata feeds,validatinginputs, and flagging discrepancies for resolution
Own SPF (Special Performance Fund) tracking, which includesmaintainingeligibility records, submission logs, and payout data in coordination with Finance and Sales leadership
Serve as a resource forSales Professionalsseekingto understand their attainment data; escalatecomp planquestions or disputes to theappropriate owner(comp plan design and administration sit outside this role)
Sales Process & Enablement Support
Support recurring sales team cadences (QBRs,Monthly Commercial Reviews,team meetings, etc.) with data preparation, reporting, and materials
Maintain and organize key sales resources including performance reports, pricing reference materials, and process documentation
Identifyopportunities to streamline sales workflows and reduce friction forSales Professionals; partner withRevOpsto implement improvements
What We're Looking For
5-7years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Analytics, or a similar analytically focused role
Strong analytical skillswithproficiencyin building reports, analyzing trends, and translating data into clear recommendations; experience with sales pipeline and performance metrics preferred
Solid understanding of deal economics and pricing structures; comfortable helpingSales Professionalsevaluate their approach against Deal Desk guidelines and prepare stronger submissions
Familiarity with veterinary, healthcare IT, or practice management software strongly preferred
Proficiencyin Salesforce; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with Anaplan or BI/reporting tools a plus
Clear, confident communicatorwith abilityto present data and deal guidance toSales ProfessionalsandManagers at all levels
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and on deadline
Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a track record of being a trusted partner to Sales teams

Base salary of $95k+ based on experience
