The Industrial Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining wage incentive plans while optimizing workforce and equipment utilization. This position partners closely with production, engineering, and management teams to improve operational efficiency and meet production goals. The role also serves as a key liaison in labor relations, supporting grievance resolution and arbitration processes. Through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives, this position drives cost-effective and sustainable manufacturing performance.

What You Will Do
Develop time standards, wage incentive plans, and evaluate ergonomic and motion efficiency in roles.
Analyze staffing needs and adjust labor requirements based on production demand and plant capacity.
Conduct job analyses assessing responsibilities, physical demands, working conditions, and skill levels.
Collaborate with Engineering to perform efficiency studies, support capital expenditure justification, and improve plant layout.
Act as a resource to production teams by supporting labor issues, grievances, and continuous improvement activities.
Provide data-driven recommendations on pay scales, performance, and operational improvements.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
2+ years of experience in manufacturing environments working with multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams.
Experience supporting operations in unionized environments.
Proficiency in computer-based tools and methodologies such as MOST, Six Sigma, and Lean manufacturing, with strong analytical and communication skills.
