Under the direction of Senior Director Digital Strategy and Operational Enablement, the Healthcare Artificial Intelligence (AI) Analyst will assist establishing clinical informatics business cases to inform our Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) build, buy, parter strategy. The Healthcare AI Analyst must be competent to meet with FCS providers and business unit leaders to gain use case requirements to assist in determining solution prioritization to improve the patient and provider experience.

AI Solutions- Responsible for intake, discovery, and prompting adjudication of AI approved use in collaboration with the AI Solutions Workgroup (including compliance, legal, physician, and pharmacy disciplines) to determine approved guidance.
Business Requirements- Create, elicit, define (write/document), and analyze business and functional requirements to facilitate requests for information (RFI), request for proposals (RFP), pilot scoping, success criteria, implementation planning activities to ensure strategic alignment, project execution, and sustainability operations.
Healthcare User Experience- Represent the voice of the customer across internal functional groups from a clinical perspective (diagnostic labs, treatment choices, patient care, EMR, labs, imaging, etc.).
Process Automation- Understanding and ability to evaluate AI Solutions based on business requirements, workflow standardization (before automation), AI approaches, and data governance best practices.
Governance- Use of a systematic approach to assess, evaluate, and determine AI solution guidance with appropriate notification, communication, and training plans while maintaining a valuation of people and process over tools, before seeking McKesson solution approvals to onboard new technology solutions.
Vendor management- Proactive vendor communications by advocating for FCS the practice.Ā
Product Management- Enjoys ideation sessions with physicians, operations, and IT colleagues in an extremely conversational manner while also able to work independently in support of organizational initiatives to meet project deadlines whileĀ maintainingĀ a high-level detail in documentation of requirements for to help inform build/buy/partner decisions.
Project management- Strong project management initiating, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling, and closing discipline to ensure successful implementation and management of AI solutions.
Data competencies- Demonstrates competency with disparate health care data sources for ingestion,Ā metadata, mappings, ontology management, data catalog management, reference data, rules/hierarchiesĀ and normalization.Ā
Data integration- Familiarization of healthcare data integrations, coding standards/systems, terminologies, systems engineering concepts, data modeling, data architecture, data warehousing, databases, andĀ datamartsĀ to ensure full-fledged requirements documentation.Ā
Collaboration- Coordination with project teams to drive projectĀ plan, metrics, specifications, design, development, integration, verification, validation and launch of solutions consistent with organizational development processes. Ā
Bachelorās degree in business analytics, computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, management information systems or another related field. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience is required or the equivalent combination for education and experience.
Professional healthcare data related experience within clinical oncology preferred.
Competencies in product management, project management, and data governance related activities.
