Develops and executes comprehensive marketing, business development, brand and external communication strategies, tactical plans and programs to optimize market share and profitability. Identifies, develops and maintains customer and partner relationships and meet service requirements. Partners cross-functionally (e.g., with sales). Leads market research to assess current and future market conditions, competitive product, service and pricing practices and changing customer/prospect dynamics in order to influence new product/service development. Includes Marketing Operations. Plans, develops and manages marketing events (e.g., trade shows, conventions, sales meetings) for internal and/or external clients. PURPOSE:
This role provides leadership and strategic direction by working with key stakeholders (T&E, events, sales (internal / external), finance, logistics and customer service teams) and global product teams for a high-level focus on activity management including:
- Promotional activities and program development
- Product launches and forecasts
This includes understanding market needs, defining user requirements by market segments, product differentiation and establishing value driven projects to drive business growth.
Job Description:
- Clinical and product sales’ training. Create multi-generational product plans, including business case development, ROI analysis, etc.
- Identify, build and communicate product value propositions that can be related to by the clinicians. Direct field sales exposure on regular basis.
- Support commercial team to retain/acquire large Kerr customers and competition users through joint field workings to understand customer needs and to curate customized solution offerings of T&E.
- KOL Management: Identify, recruit and build relationships with KOLs in the assigned geography.
- T&E: Plan and execute training and education programs in the assigned geography; build and report participants’ database and assist in business tracking in sync with commercial team.
- Actively assist upgradation of training materials on need basis for dental academies, Focus group meetings and other courses. Complete documentation of courses and proposals.
- Building relations with key customers and segments: KOLs, DSOs and academia through frequent market / institution visits with sales team supporting them with product demos, case planning and allied clinical case discussions.
- T&E Asset management: Distribution, tracking, periodic audits, inventory control and reporting on a quarterly basis (including demos and samples).
- Actively participate in T&E events by being present to demonstrate products and have meaningful discussions with customers to develop market understanding.
- Prepare competition activity report and insights.
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product/T&E Manager or similar role. Dental must.
- Previous experience in a sales role will be viewed favorably
- Proven experience in product lifecycle management
- Degree in marketing, business and /or strategy focus >5 years of product management experience in healthcare or medical device related field with demonstrated record of successful leadership of market driven product development teams.
Critical Skills/technical know-how:
- Develop and implement product strategies consistent with company vision
- Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps
- Team oriented with an ability to motivate and work well with diverse and cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or regulated medical device or dental business and demonstrates a strong commitment to quality.
- Strong Healthcare product and industry acumen. Dental preferred
- Leadership skills to lead teams and shape growth vision and marketing strategy.
- Proven ability in cross functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, able to clearly interpret scientific, clinical and commercial information.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes.
- A proven track record of developing relationships with key customers and professional associations.
- Evidence of strong collaboration with sales teams demonstrating high levels of effective communication and understanding of the sales process.
- Strong product management/marketing/T&E expertise (dental preferred) , including market trends/analysis, product launches, product roadmap development, product-life cycle management, and pricing
