OVERVIEW:
The Event Associate will be expected to provide thoughtful product recommendations that fitĀ
the skill/experience level of each athlete. As the Field Associate youāll support the Field/Lead CoachĀ
for our in-store sport events ā both on and off the field. In addition to in-store events, youāll have theĀ
opportunity to assist the lead with DICKāS sponsored camps, clinics and programs ā bringing yourĀ
passion and expertise for sports to our experiential store. The job duties and responsibilities of thisĀ
role include the following:Ā
Responsible for driving the highest level of customer service, ensuring our teammates areĀ driving the DICKāS common purpose and delivering hassle-free, engaging, athlete-first service.Ā
Assist the Field Lead/Coach with field programming, guiding our athletes to have fun andĀ participate, safely.Ā
Build relationships with local schools, community organizations, sports leagues, home schoolĀ organizations, to leverage for partnerships and field events.Ā
Work with the Community Team to bring clinics, camps, afterschool programming, to theĀ Field.Ā
Assist with providing outstanding teammate training and coaching to deliver on the storeĀ vision and experience. This could include one-on-one teammate conversations, facilitatingĀ group training sessions and conducting role play exercises.Ā
Adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.Ā
Adhere to all loss prevention standards.Ā
Promote company programs including warranty sales, Scorecard (loyalty program), private-label credit cards, and other seasonal promotions.Ā
Bring to life the power of opinion. Making sure our experience includes product experts whoĀ provide consultative advice to our athletes, demonstrating excellent product knowledge.Ā
Perform other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 2 years of customer service experience preferredĀ
Customer-service orientedĀ
