This position will work to manage and grow corporate client relationships for CME Group in Latin America with focus on the Commodities ecosystem (Agriculture, Energy and Metals). This is a high-impact, collaborative role that requires bridging the gap between sophisticated financial products and the physical needs of regional commercial clients. The successful candidate will drive revenue by managing a disciplined sales pipeline, fostering deep relationships with stakeholders, and working seamlessly and collaboratively across internal business lines.
Sales Pipeline Excellence: Maintain sales relationships with the largest corporates clients in the region by providing client development and fostering deep relationships in tier 1 and 2 clients. Proactively identify, prospect, and convert target accounts across Latin America to maintain new client acquisition in the region. Maintain a rigorous, data-driven sales pipeline within Salesforce to track growth, barriers to entry, and conversion metrics.
Client Support: Navigate internal resources (Global Command Center, Onboarding, Market Regulation) to resolve client hurdles regarding Globex access, margin requirements, and onboarding.
Revenue Growth: Drive volume and open interest for the commodities portfolio while cross-selling the broader CME suite (Platforms, Market Data, Financials) to provide holistic risk management solutions.
Business Development & Market Intelligence: Partner with several stakeholders at the company, to validate new products and provide regional intelligence in global product development. Provide real-time input into market-building strategies, identifying shifts in the physical underlying commodity markets that necessitate new derivative solutions.
Regional Ecosystem Support: Manage and deepen the strategic partnerships and lead joint initiatives that increase market liquidity and accessibility.
Regional Education: Leverage Marketing and Education teams to design and deliver high-value seminars, webinars, and educational content tailored to the specific nuances of the Latin American commodities market.
