Role Overview:
We are looking for an Ecommerce Manager with 3+ years of experience in eCommerce management to help optimize and manage the company’s Shopify store. You will be responsible for handling front-end updates, ensuring products are properly listed, and maintaining the site’s functionality for an enhanced user experience. This role also includes an AI-forward component, where you’ll leverage tools like Claude Code to build lightweight internal tools, automate workflows, and improve efficiency across eCommerce operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Management:
Manage Shopify store and front-end updates, ensuring smooth operations and up-to-date product listings.
Add and update product descriptions, images, and variants, ensuring all information is accurate and consistent.
Maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring products are correctly represented and availability is accurate.
Product Listings & Updates:
Ensure products are properly listed with accurate descriptions, images, variants, and pricing.
Set up new product listings, update existing products, and ensure products are optimized for searchability.
Banners & Collections:
Manage website banners, ensuring promotional materials are up to date and optimized for conversion.
Regularly update collections and manage featured products to ensure high-quality user experience.
Product Imagery Optimization:
Optimize product imagery for a high-quality user experience and to increase conversion rates.
Ensure that images are properly sized, aligned with brand standards, and look great across devices.
Website & Customer Experience Optimization:
Ensure the website is always updated, and product-related issues are quickly addressed.
Monitor and optimize the customer journey, improving the overall online shopping experience.
AI Tools & Automation:
Leverage tools like Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar to build lightweight internal tools and automations for eCommerce workflows.
Create scripts or AI-assisted solutions for tasks like bulk product updates, data cleanup, content generation, and reporting.
Identify repetitive processes and implement AI-driven efficiencies to reduce manual work.
Support the development of simple eCommerce tools, dashboards, or workflows that improve team productivity.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in eCommerce, with strong Shopify proficiency.
Strong understanding of product listings, inventory management, and website optimization.
Experience managing front-end updates and product uploads within an eCommerce platform.
Familiarity or interest in using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to improve workflows.
Ability to build or assist with basic automations, scripts, or AI-assisted tools (no heavy engineering required).
High attention to detail, ensuring accurate product data and an organized product catalog.
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with product imagery optimization and enhancing website user experience.
