SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
TheSupply Chain & Logistics Planner is requiredtomanage the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain activities at our medical device remanufacturing facility. This roleis responsible forensuring thetimelyand compliant movement of post-use medical devices into the facility and remanufactured products out totheLogistics Service Provider whileoptimizinginventory, transportation, and material flow.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manageinboundlogisticsthrough planning and coordination ofthe collection and receipt of post-use medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental requirements.
Develop andmaintainproduction and material plans to align with demand forecasts, inventory targets, and operational capacity.
Manage outboundlogisticsfor remanufactured products, ensuringtimelydelivery and adherence tocustomerthe Logistics Service Providerand regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with procurement, operations, and quality teams to ensure material availability and traceability throughout the remanufacturing process.
Manageinventory levelsthrough monitoring and optimization, safety stock, and warehouse spaceutilization.
Maintainaccuraterecords of shipments, inventory transactions, and supply chain KPIs.
Identifyand implement process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce waste, and support sustainability goals.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including TGA, DOT, EPA, and ISO 13485 standards for medical devicelogisticsand waste handling.
Manage incoming shipments to ensure availability of raw materials and supplies for the manufacturing process – including but not limited to packaging materials, PPE, chemicalsuppliesand operational supplies.
Coordinate movement of finished goods through the disinfection process at the 3rdparty sterilizer, ensuring visibility and turnaround times.
Developed complex T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures to support front-end applications
EDUCATION/TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
4-8years of experience in supply chain orlogisticsplanning, preferably in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare).
Experience working with andmaintainingmanufacturing or warehouse ERP systems (Super user experience a plus)
Experience with MS ACCESS (Moderate to highproficiency)
VBA / Macros, Pivotreportsand BI reporting
Strong understanding of inventory management, production planning, and transportationlogistics.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for handling and transporting medical waste or post-use devices.
Proficiencyin ERP systems and supply chain planning tools.
Advancedskills in Microsoft Access and Excel. Experience with Macros/VBAa plus.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Experience in remanufacturing or reverselogistics.
Knowledge of cleanroom or sterile supply chain environments.
Lean or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Experience with sustainability or circulareconomyinitiatives in supply chain.
