Position OverviewÂ
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Technical Sales to lead a team of Technical Sales Engineers supporting our Territory business across a diverse set of industries. The Technical Sales team partners with Sales to translate customer business challenges into technical solutions that drive measurable outcomes. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team focused on scalable, repeatable technical engagements that accelerate deal velocity across a high volume of opportunities. You will be responsible for developing talent, driving technical sales execution, and establishing a consistent operating model that enables success across a broad and varied customer base.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Technical Sales supporting a Territory, volume-focused businessÂ
Provide ongoing feedback, mentoring, and career development to drive individual and team performanceÂ
Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture focused on accountability and continuous improvementÂ
Recruit, onboard, and retain top technical sales talentÂ
Partner with Sales leadership to execute regional technical sales strategy across a high volume of opportunitiesÂ
Ensure the team effectively supports pipeline development, deal progression, and technical closureÂ
Participate in forecast calls, account reviews, and business planning activitiesÂ
Guide the team in prioritizing efforts to balance deal velocity with technical depthÂ
Establish best practices for discovery, demonstrations, and technical validation in a volume sales motionÂ
Ensure consistent, high-quality customer engagements across industries and use casesÂ
Coach the team to translate diverse customer needs into scalable, outcome-driven solutionsÂ
Drive adoption of standard demos, assets, and playbooks to improve efficiency and impactÂ
Build and optimize a scalable technical sales operating model aligned to a volume businessÂ
Implement tools, processes, and metrics to improve productivity and consistencyÂ
Enable the team to manage multiple concurrent opportunities effectivelyÂ
Balance standardization with flexibility to support a wide range of customer scenariosÂ
Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Resellers and other internal functions to align on priorities and execution
Act as a voice of the field by providing feedback on product gaps, competitive insights, and customer needsÂ
Drive alignment across teams to support key business initiatives and customer successÂ
 Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or solution consultingÂ
Proven success in high-volume / mid-market / SMB sales environmentsÂ
Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and deal progressionÂ
Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skillsÂ
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environmentÂ
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholdersÂ
Travel 50%+ (including flights and international at times)Â
The Ideal CandidateÂ
2+ years of experience in people management or team leadershipÂ
Located in driving distance to Denver, CO areaÂ
Experienced leader who can scale teams and drive consistent sales motions, accountability, and resultsÂ
Strong balance of technical acumen and business/sales mindsetÂ
Comfortable operating across multiple industries and customer segmentsÂ
Data-driven and operationally strong, with a focus on efficiency and impactÂ
Effective at influencing without authority and aligning diverse stakeholdersÂ
Experience in SaaS, cloud, or platform-based solutions
