ScorePlay is the AI-powered media infrastructure for sports, built to automate the content operations behind the world's biggest sports organizations. We work with 300+ leagues, competitions, teams and broadcasters â including Ligue 1 and Premier League clubs, NBA and NFL teams, the Tour de France, the Australian Open, and leading bodies like UEFA and FIBA â helping them turn every moment on and off the field into high-value, structured content. Our platform brings all their media into one place and makes it effortless to find, edit and share in seconds.
Founded in 2021, weâre a 50-person team based between New York and Paris, growing 2x year over year with 98% retention. Weâve raised $20M+ from top investors including Alexis Ohanian and Harry Stebbingâs 20VC and elite athletes like Kevin Durant, RaphaĂ«l Varane, Mario Götze, Nico Rosberg and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
If youâre passionate about sports and thrive in fast-paced environments - and you want to help shape how the next generation of fans experience sports, youâre in the right place. Weâre on track to become the global leader in sports media, and this is definitely the best time to join our adventure.
Weâre entering a new phase at ScorePlay: scaling from lighter deployments to highly structured, professional rollouts that meet the technical demands of larger, more complex sports and broadcast organizations.
As a Deployment Engineer, youâll sit at the intersection of technology and customer success. Youâll be the technical lead for deploying, integrating, and implementing our Media Asset Management (MAM) solution at client organizations, from kickoff to go-live. Youâll work directly with customers and internal teams to make complex implementations feel simple, and help shape how we deliver technical value at scale.
1. Lead solution deployment & integration
Own the end-to-end technical deployment of ScorePlay for our new largest clients, from project kickoff through go-live.
Design and execute implementation plans in close collaboration with Customer Success, Tech, Product and Pre-Sales.
Configure, integrate, and adapt ScorePlay to fit client workflows â including APIs, SSO, cloud storage, broadcast partners and on-prem / hybrid setups.
Operate and monitor media ingest and archive migrations, helping customers bring large volumes of existing content into ScorePlay.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during onboarding, acting as the primary technical point of contact for the customer.
Work with Engineering on more complex integration or customisation needs when they arise.
2. Work directly with customers & drive adoption
Build trusted relationships with client technical teams (IT, broadcast, media teams, integrators) throughout the deployment.
Run technical workshops and working sessions to align on architecture, workflows, and constraints.
Support Customer Success with admin / power user enablement so customers can operate ScorePlay confidently once live.
Help translate customer needs and constraints into clear technical requirements for internal teams.
3. Shape our deployment playbook & internal processes
Help build the playbook for future deployments: standard steps, checklists, documentation, and templates.
Identify bottlenecks and recurring issues in implementation, and propose pragmatic improvements to tools and processes.
Contribute to internal documentation around best practices for onboarding, integrations, and media migrations.
Bring structured feedback from the field to Product and Tech to improve our platform and make deployments smoother over time.
4. Partner across Customer Success, Product & Engineering
Collaborate closely with Customer Success during scoping, onboarding and handover to âbusiness as usualâ.
Work with Pre-Sales to validate whatâs been sold is technically feasible and to prepare complex deployments.
Coordinate with Product and Engineering when deployment surfaces product gaps or integration challenges.
Represent the voice of delivery internally: what it really takes to make a deployment successful for customers.
Here are a few signs you might love working at ScorePlay:
You want to be hands-on on real-world systems â media, archives, workflows, integrations â not just slideware.
You enjoy being the person who owns the result, not just one ticket in the project.
You like turning loosely defined projects into clear plans and repeatable steps that others can follow.
Youâre excited by the idea of being the first Deployment Engineer and helping shape how this function grows.
Youâre motivated by direct customer impact: seeing world-class sports organizations actually use what youâve helped deploy.
Youâre comfortable in a fast-moving environment where not everything is figured out yet, and your experience helps bring structure.
You want to join an international, sports-focused team working with top clubs, leagues and media organizations in Paris, New York and beyond.
5+ years in a technical role (e.g. deployment / implementation engineer, solutions engineer, software engineer, professional services, or similar) in a B2B or SaaS context.
Demonstrated experience leading complex enterprise implementations or integrations for external clients.
Strong technical skills:
Comfortable with APIs, scripting (Python, JavaScript, Bash or similar),
Used to working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure),
Solid understanding of basic networking and security concepts.
Highly organized and proactive, able to juggle multiple projects, manage timelines, and keep stakeholders aligned.
Proven ability to work independently in a fast-growing environment, laying foundations for scalable processes rather than just following them.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; able to discuss technical topics with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Bonus points if you have:
Experience in sports, media, broadcast or video workflows
A genuine passion for sports and technology
