Verso is an AI-native consumer research platform. Our AI conducts 1:1 qualitative interviews at scale in any language, then analyzes transcripts into structured, actionable reports in under a week, at a fraction of traditional cost. We serve global brands across the world.
We are a small team with high standards and a clear thesis: consumer research has been broken for decades, and AI is finally the right tool to fix it.
Verso was founded by Lydia & Camille. Lydia spent 7 years at BCG leading AI-powered transformation for CPGs and knows the pain inside out. Camille is an AI expert and pioneer in agentic systems. Together, they decided to build Verso to turn consumer understanding into a real-time competitive advantage for all of their clients.
Why this role exists
We have built an AI that runs qualitative interviews at scale and turns interviews into structured insights. The technology works and has beed adopted by 15+ clients. Now we need someone who pushes it further: someone who knows what a brilliant debrief feels like, what a sharp brief unlocks, and what separates a finding from a truth.
You will be the research authority at Verso, the person who shapes how our clients think about their studies and how we think about our product. This is not a delivery role with a client-facing wrapper. It is a strategic position at the intersection of research craft, AI, and company building.
What you will own
Research quality, end-to-end. From the first brief call to the final debrief, you set the bar. You review AI outputs with a researcher's eye, enrich findings, and ensure every report earns client trust.
Study design and scoping. You help clients turn business questions into sharp research briefs. You advise on methodology, sample, market selection, and moderation approach, including what the AI needs to do well.
Client relationships that compound. You become the person clients want on their next study before the current one is over. You build long-term partnerships with insights, marketing, and product leaders who see Verso as their go-to research engine.
Our methodology and product direction. You feed the product team with real constraints, gaps, and opportunities you observe across studies. You help define what our AI should do better, and help articulate what makes our approach genuinely different.
The standard for how we operate. You build the frameworks, templates, and quality rituals that scale as Verso grows. You are not a lone expert; you are building a function.
Who you are
5 to 10 years of qualitative research experience, whether at an agency, a consultancy, or an in-house insights team at a global brand
You have run multi-market studies and know what makes a debrief land with a CMO versus a product team
You write clearly, think structurally, and can build a narrative out of messy, contradictory data
You are genuinely curious about what AI changes for our field, not just as a tool but as a methodological shift
You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and care about the craft of research more than the comfort of process
Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a real plus given our market footprint
