The inspHire Program is responsible for providing job placement and other support services for individuals with a lived incarceration experience and/or individuals who are on community supervision. These individuals are being released to and/or residing in Hillsborough, Polk, and Pasco counties.
Position Summary
The Intake Supervisor provides leadership and oversight of the Intake team, ensuring effective recruitment, enrollment, and transition of candidates into the inspHire program. This role is responsible for planning, assigning, and reviewing staff work; maintaining compliance with program standards and contractual requirements; and coordinating resources and partnerships that drive enrollment outcomes. The Intake Supervisor ensures operational excellence, data integrity, and consistency across all intake functions while supporting organizational goals and program effectiveness.
Core Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Supervision
Provide day-to-day leadership, direction, and accountability for Intake staff, including workload distribution, scheduling, and performance oversight.
Lead regular team meetings to review performance, reinforce procedures, and drive continuous improvement.
Train, coach, and develop Intake Specialists, including onboarding new hires and reinforcing program standards.
Monitor staff productivity, time management, and caseload distribution to ensure alignment with program expectations.
Address performance issues proactively and communicate concerns to the Program Manager as appropriate.
Foster a culture aligned with organizational values, emphasizing accountability, teamwork, and excellence.
2. Program Oversight, Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure all intake activities comply with program policies, eligibility requirements, and contractual obligations (e.g., FDC guidelines).
Review and approve staff documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness within the ETO system.
Monitor intake timelines, enrollment metrics, and data integrity to ensure program targets are met.
Oversee proper handling and submission of required documentation (e.g., referral forms, client files).
Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Support Program Manager with reporting and invoicing by ensuring all services are properly documented and compliant.
3. Recruitment, Partnerships & Enrollment Coordination
Oversee and coordinate recruitment efforts across correctional facilities, supervision offices, and community partners.
Ensure intake presentations and outreach activities are scheduled, staffed, and executed effectively.
Maintain and strengthen partnerships with agencies, housing providers, and referral sources to support candidate pipeline and successful program entry.
Monitor recruitment strategies and adjust approaches to meet enrollment goals.
Oversee candidate progression from application through enrollment, ensuring timely movement through the intake pipeline (without ongoing case management responsibility post-enrollment).
Coordinate and ensure seamless transition of enrolled clients to Case Management, including accurate documentation, appropriate assignments, and alignment with Plan of Care recommendations.
4. Operations & Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with Case Management and Workforce Development teams to ensure smooth client handoffs and program continuity.
Serve as the primary escalation point for intake-related issues involving staff, partners, or candidates.
Coordinate resources (staff, schedules, systems, and partnerships) to maximize operational effectiveness.
Provide regular updates and insights to the Program Manager regarding trends, risks, and opportunities within intake operations.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required (Social Work, Criminology, Psychology, or related field
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in human services or nonprofit programs
Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred
Experience working with justice-involved or underserved populations
