You will contribute by:Â
Providing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment by acting as a custodian / janitor - Performing janitorial duties such as cleaning the entire warehouse, including office space, employee break areas, Â windows and restroomsÂ
Maintaining good housekeeping by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, buffing and waxing floors - Occasionally pulling product out of pick slots using an electric pallet jack to clean with a scrubber and returning  productÂ
Tending to spills including damaged product, oil, grease, etc. Â
Collecting plastic wrap, shredded paper, and empty boxes to be disposed of properlyÂ
Following all material handling equipment safe operating proceduresÂ
Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levelsÂ
Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating proceduresÂ
Whatâs a great way to stay in shape?Â
Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shiftÂ
Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc. Â
Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or moreÂ
Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overheadÂ
Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying heightÂ
Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting toolsÂ
