The Production Scientist I, Blood Virus (BV)Â for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for manufacture and testing of BV Reagent kits.
This position is part of the BV project team, located just outside Tulla in Lismeehan, O'Callaghan's Mills, Co. Clare and will be an on onsite role. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will report to the BV Manager and will be part of a team working on an incredibly important, high-profile project for both Beckman Coulter and Danaher in terms of delivering new assays for our business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Manufacture Blood Virus Reagent Kits
Maintain neat and accurate records as per relevant procedures and work instructions
Update procedures to reflect current practices
Calibrate and maintain production equipment
Complete failure investigations where required on non conforming products/OOS
Be responsible for in process testing of Blood Virus Reagent
Drive process improvements within the formulation department
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years experience in Technical Field (Science or Engineering) and or/Compliant (Complains, Quality or Regulatory)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience working in a GMPâregulated environment
Batchâbased manufacturing or lot traceability
Completing routine laboratory techniques (pipetting, solution prep, documentation
Operating, calibrating, or maintaining laboratory or production equipment
