About the role
The Facilities and Strategic Project Manager is responsible for the equipmentās and facility maintenance, clean rooms environment requirements and cleaning, development and execution of a portfolio of projects for the organization. Is
responsible for ensuring that the project management plans are completed in compliance with the corresponding safety, quality, time, cost and ethical guidelines.
The Facilities and strategic project manager should have an analytical mindset of financial environments, engineering, technical, organizational skills and leadership qualities with the aim of ensuring that projects are delivered on time in accordance with requirements. Should have skills to manage the facilities staff to maintain the plants running without major issues.
The functional area of the facilities and strategic projects manager is focused on the growth of the organization with scope in footprint expansion projects for productive and support areas in an efficient, sustainable way, and participation in continuous improvement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Leads multiple project activities throughout project lifecycles to ensure completion within defined scope, safety, quality, time, cost, and corresponding ethical constraints.
Work closely with cross-functional teams and assigned project managers to plan and develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing of new initiatives.
Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities.
Change, risk and resource management
Analyze and solve higher scope project issues.
Assess program strengths and identify improvement areas
Ensuring that objectives are met in areas including customer satisfaction and team member performance.
Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure project requirements are met.
Meet with the work team and stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project issues and service decisions.
Producing accurate and timely reports on the status of the project throughout its life cycle.
Analyze the project management risks.
Investigate and fix malfunctions of equipment's and systems with recurring problems.
Meet with all those applicable requirements of the ISO 13485 & FDA, CGMP. Responsible to develop and sustain a training program for new personnel, make sure the follow up and record it. and keep updated all the team.
Support to provide training in handling and safety for the facilities staff on the equipment's and other works.
Following up of the general procedures, organizational plans, strategies and polices of IC Mexico.
Hire, train, and keep the personnel in the department, following the policies established in the company.
Plan and an operate within the approved budget and the product cost. Supervise and manage the daily activities within the members of the department.
Review and approve with a functional approach all Quality system documents related to the department.
Support on implementation of preventive and corrective actions as much to the quality system for the clean room requirements as like to the safety system previous to processes problems analysis done by those departments.
Skills and Experience
Mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or equivalent engineer degree is required. Masters is a plus.
Skills for investment projects valuation (CAPEX)
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations is required. Knowledge of cleanroom requirements according to standards.
Knowledge in electrical, air conditioners, hydraulics and pneumatics engineering
Spoken and written English, Indispensable
Leadership skills: communicator, organizer, influential, action planner, self-motivated and executor. Person who works well in a team, with proven experience to handle multiple tasks and competition demands.
Integrity and strong personal and professional ethical values.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Project, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, including external suppliers and / or external customers. Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001 requirements and applicable legal requirements.
Knowledge of requirements of FDA QSR's GMP's and ISO 13485 or similar regulations, preferred.
Experience in problem solving techniques.
Experience on budget administration.
Experience on building installations and equipmentās.
