The Marketing Manager is responsible for designing, executing, and monitoring the company’s marketing plan to ensure optimal efficiency in terms of investment versus results. The role ensures full compliance with applicable regulations and corporate standards, while protecting and strengthening the organization’s public reputation.
KeyResponsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution
Define and execute strategic marketing plans that drive sustainable business growth and portfolio development.
Provide marketing leadership in the development and optimization of product and service portfolios.
Communicate product and service strategies aligned with overall company marketing strategies.
Market Analysis & Positioning
Assess internal and external market variablesimpactingproducts, pricing, brands, and promotional plans, and adjust campaigns accordingly tomaintaindesired market positioning.
Conduct market research and develop actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Extract and translate key clinical literature findings that align with and add value to marketing strategies.
Product Launches & Lifecycle Management
Lead the development and execution of new product and line launches across assigned countries, coordinating activities from market research through launch to sales force, customers, and end users.
Evaluate and develop business cases in line with global, regional, and local marketing strategies.
Define, evaluate, andoptimizethe product mix to maximize portfolio performance.
Stakeholder & KOL Engagement
Build and sustain long-term strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Medical,Market Access,Finance, Supply Chainand Regulatory, to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
Sales Force Enablement
Work closely with the sales organization through field engagement, providing feedback on marketing variables, message execution, and identification of business opportunities.
Support sales strategies with clear, differentiated value propositions grounded in clinical and economic evidence.
Budget & Governance
Allocate, manage, and authorize expenditures within the approved marketing budget.
Evaluate and manage grants requested by the sales organization in compliance with internal policies and governance standards.
Health Economics & Strategic Value
Apply health economics principles to generate strategic insights that support value-based selling and access strategies.
Build and sustain long-term strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Medical,Market Access,Finance, Supply Chainand Regulatory, to ensure alignment and execution excellence.
Skills & Experience:
Strong strategic marketing expertise within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-country and cross-functional projects.
Advanced market research, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
Solid financial and technical skills to evaluate business models and investment returns.
Deep understanding of traditional and digital marketing strategies.
Strong knowledge of medical device market dynamics and competitive environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and cultures.
Recognized expertise in Convatec’s products and services (or ability to rapidly develop this expertise).
High adaptability to translate global and regional strategies into local market realities.
Qualifications/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
Postgraduate qualification, MBA, or specialization in Marketing, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, or Health Economics is desirable.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marketing roles, preferably within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare / life sciences industries.
Demonstrated experience working within regulated healthcare environments, with solid understanding of healthcare systems, compliance, and industry regulations.
Proven background in product lifecycle management, including portfolio strategy, new product launches, and product mix optimization.
Strong experience in market research, data analysis, and performance tracking, translating insights into effective marketing strategies.
Travel Requirements
Position may involve travel up to20% of working time, primarily within the region, with occasional overnight stays.

Fluent English and Spanish level
