We're building the next generation of cross-border fintech infrastructure ā powering payments, KYC, and global merchant experiences.
As a Mid-Level Frontend Engineer (2ā4 years), you'll ship user-facing features and internal tooling across our product surfaces ā checkouts, merchant dashboards, compliance and operations workflows, and the systems our partners and internal teams rely on every day.
This is a product-focused IC role. You'll work closely with a senior engineer, product, design, and domain partners to deliver features that directly move customer and business outcomes.
Ship features end-to-end
⢠Build production-grade React + TypeScript interfaces across checkout, dashboards, and internal workflows.
⢠Own the FE side of each ticket: scope clarification, data contracts with backend, edge cases, testing, release.
⢠Build data-heavy UIs ā filter-heavy tables, detail views, workflow screens, configuration surfaces.
Work at a healthy cadence with AI
⢠Use AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) for non-trivial work. We expect this on day one.
⢠Review AI output critically ā catch bugs, security issues, and wrong abstractions before they land.
⢠Ask good clarifying questions when a ticket is ambiguous. Flag risks early.
Participate in the FE pod
⢠Contribute to code reviews across FE work.
⢠Take part in FE pod standards discussions, platform planning, and retros.
⢠Raise issues that hurt the team's velocity ā inconsistent patterns, shared-package friction, testing gaps.
⢠2ā4 years of professional frontend development experience.
⢠Shipped production React + TypeScript code in a real codebase. Tutorials and personal projects don't count.
⢠Demonstrated stability (1.5+ years in at least one role preferred).
⢠Solid React fundamentals ā hooks, composition, component boundaries, lifecycle and state clarity.
⢠Strong TypeScript ā comfortable with generics, discriminated unions, inference, and typing real-world data.
⢠Server-state with TanStack Query and client-state with Zustand. (We don't use Redux.)
⢠Vite build toolchain.
⢠Turborepo monorepo familiarity (or willingness to learn quickly).
⢠Vitest + Playwright for testing. Knows the difference between a unit test and a meaningful one.
⢠Comfortable building data-heavy UIs ā tables, filters, detail views, dashboards. Understands pagination, virtualization, optimistic updates.
⢠Security-aware ā comfortable working on flows that handle PII, tokens, and financial data. Follows team conventions for cross-origin messaging, sensitive data logging, and access controls.
⢠Product sense developing ā pushes back when a UX decision feels wrong, even politely.
⢠Clear communicator ā asks questions early, flags trade-offs, writes PRs a reviewer can actually review.
⢠Exposure to fintech, payments, compliance, or risk products.
⢠Experience with design systems (Storybook, component libraries).
⢠Backend basics (REST, understanding auth/token flows).
⢠DevOps awareness (CI/CD, basic deployment concepts).
We're a small, high-ownership team where engineers:
⢠Own features end-to-end ā not just tickets.
⢠Ship fast, but with a strong focus on quality.
⢠Work directly with founders and leadership.
⢠Build systems used in real production environments by merchants and regulators.
⢠Ownership: takes initiative and drives outcomes.
⢠Frontend Craft: cares deeply about performance, UX, and quality.
⢠Pragmatism: balances speed with long-term maintainability.
⢠Curiosity: open to learning new domains ā payments, compliance, platform.
⢠Honesty: clear about what they know and where they're growing.
This is a high-impact role for engineers who want to:
⢠Build fintech products where correctness and trust matter.
⢠Work on data-heavy, workflow-driven UIs that shape real business outcomes.
⢠Grow under the mentorship of a senior FE engineer and an engaged FE pod.
⢠Be part of a team that ships quickly and improves how payments infrastructure is built globally.
