The Medical Urologist willbe responsible formanaging the care and treatment of urological patients.āÆThe MedicalUrologists will work closely with center team members to implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
What We OfferĀ
Flexible schedule:8 hours per week
Anticipated hourly range: $151.60 - $235.00 per hour
The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidateās geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Major Responsibilities
Treat and care for our patientsāÆ
Participateas a member of multidisciplinary urologic cancer center team
Mentor and precept General Surgery residents (six categorical per year)
To provide general urologic clinical services within the context of the Departmentās overall practiceĀ
Toparticipatein the educational life of the Department
Teaching and supervision of General Surgery Residents
Assisting the Residency Leadership team in curriculum development in Urology
Serving as a professional role model for trainees with peers, patients,familiesand other members of the health care team
Diagnosis and treat patient disorders related to the genitourinary organs and connected tissues
QualificationsĀ
MD or MD/PhD with medical training specifically in urologyāÆ
Must be Board certified and/or Board eligible in urology with a state license in good standing
If Board eligible, must be willing to take the boards and successfully pass within 12 months
Ability to interpret clinical, genomic and efficacy data
Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
Through and up-to-date working knowledge of urological treatment options
Technical skills tooperatemedical equipment and tools related to urology treatment
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, technicians, fellow medicalprofessionalsand other clinic team members
Excellent communication and presentation skills
