About the Role
As a StaffDeveloper, you’ll take a leadership role in designing and building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services that power our cybersecurity solutions. You'll mentor junior developers, drive architectural decisions, and work closely with front-end engineers, security teams, and DevOps to create robust and efficient systems.
What You’ll Do
Architect, develop and maintainscalable, high-performance backend services.
Design and implementRESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and micro-services to support frontend applications.
Optimise system performance, security, and reliability for large-scale cloud applications.
Collaborate with front-end developers, security teams, and DevOps engineers to drive backend innovation.
Work withdatabases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
Implement authentication, authorisation, and security best practices.
Guide and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
Continuously improve development processes and promote backend best practices.
Work withReact/Typescript to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components.
What You Bring
9+ years of experience inbackend development, with exposure to full-stack development.
Expertise in any of the programming languages such asGo,Python,Java
Strong knowledge ofRESTful APIs, and micro-services architecture.
Experience withdatabases (such as PostgreSQL).
Proficiency inasynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance optimisation.
Familiarity withmessage queues (such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS).
Strong understanding ofsecurity best practices, authentication, and authorisation mechanisms.
Proficiency inAWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, and ECS.
Familiarity withAI native tools (such aslang chain, lang fuse) and experience in development lifecycle with AI-DLC
Bonus Points for
Experience withcontainerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS) and cloud-native architectures.
Experience withAWS services or AZURE services.
Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Strong experience withGit for version control.
Interest in cybersecurity and security operations.
