The Business Process Architect applies expertise in a business/technical system area to an information technology tool set, in an attempt to automate manual effort. The Business Process Architect has grown their single-system focus into a cross-functional understanding of how multiple business/technical processes interact with one another. In an attempt to match the capabilities of the current IT technology with business/technical needs, the Architect must strive for a cross-functional, cross-platform solution. The Business Process Architect provides guidance to departmental and divisional business/technical management on IT strategies and initiatives.
Sales Cloud Architect and technical subject‑matter expert responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions that enable global Sales processes and support business growth.
You will work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and IT teams to define future sales processes including Opportunity Management, Sales Visit planning, Account/Contact execution, Territory Management, and reporting.
The role focuses primarily on Sales Cloud, with additional exposure to Service Cloud and optional DevOps responsibilities using Copado.
Expertise in Salesforce configuration, automation, integration, governance, and best practices is essential.
1. System Configuration & Automation
Configure and implement Sales Cloud capabilities including Opportunity Management, Sales Visit processes, basic reporting and dashboards, and Territory Management.
Design Flows and automation, set up security/sharing models, roles, permission sets / groups, and territory structures.
Support multi‑country rollout preparation and ensure all configuration aligns with global architecture and standards
2.Business Analyst & Requirement Gathering
Conduct workshops with business stakeholders (mainly Sales, with some Service involvement).
Translate business requirements into solution designs supporting the Sales Cloud rollout.
Perform process mapping, gap analysis, and collaborate with Product Owners to shape global sales processes.
Support backlog refinement and Agile sprint planning.
3.Automation & Integration & Data Migration
Design scalable, low‑code automations supporting sales operations.
Coordinate integrations (e.g., ERP, visit tracking, product data) using standard Salesforce patterns.
Support and validate multi‑country data migrations, ensuring data quality, compliance, and consistency with the global Sales Cloud operating model.
4. Change Management & Training
Prepare release documentation, train key users in Sales Cloud functionalities, support UAT cycles, and ensure successful adoption during rollout.
5. Support & DevOps Tool
Provide operational support for Sales Operations and Sales Enablement teams.
Manage deployments through Dev, SIT, UAT, and Production, ideally using Copado or comparable DevOps tools.
Maintain configuration and architecture documentation.
