As Radiation Therapy Manager, you will oversee daily operations and coordination of services,activities of the radiation therapists, technical aids,and van drivers,whilealsomanagingassigned areas to meet business goals through cost containment andenhanced service.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provides administrative and clinical supervision for therapists, transportationgroups,blockand mold technicians.
Assistsin conducting performance evaluations.
Monitors staff certification and current license documentation.
Assistswith radiation oncology personnel recruiting and retention.
Overseesdaily operation and coordination of services.
Manages thepatients'scheduling.
Coordinates procedures with physician schedules, availability of machines, personnelresources,and other departments.
Ensuresappropriate staffinglevels according to ACR standards and patient volume.
Coordinates daily radiation oncology services.Assistswith departmental budget preparation.
Assesses current practices and procedures foroptimumcost effectiveness.
Maintains patient care and equipment quality control standards.
Maintains thorough knowledge of department operations and equipment capabilities.
Develops andmodifiesdepartmental policies and procedures to meet standards (JCAHO,NRCand ODH).
Participates in qualityassurance,standarddevelopment,and monitoring.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
5 years of progressive supervisory experience
Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health, Health Care Administration, or equivalent
Graduatefroma CAHEA approved School of Radiation Therapy Technology or Registry eligible
Must be aBoard-CertifiedRegistered Radiation Therapist with current state licensure as well as a Registered Technologist in Radiation Therapy R.T.(T) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Experience and training in all the latest technologies such as: External beam linear accelerators,Gamma Knife, IMRT, MIMIC, MLC, BAT, Hyperthermia, Ultrasound and Prostate Implants
