The Opportunity
CACI is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our PeopleSoft environment. This role is responsible for system administration, performance tuning, upgrades, security, and ensuring the reliability and availability of PeopleSoft applications across the organization.
Responsibilities
Administer and support PeopleSoft environments (development, test, and production)Â
Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft application components using Oracle PeopleSoft and Oracle WebLogic ServerÂ
Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance packsÂ
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues (batch processes, integration broker, application server domains)Â
Manage PeopleSoft security (user roles, permissions, and access controls)Â
Support PeopleSoft Process Scheduler and batch processingÂ
Work with DBAs to optimize database performance (commonly Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server)Â
Administer integrations with third-party systems (APIs, web services, file-based integrations)Â
Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery proceduresÂ
Support migration activities using tools like Application Designer and Change AssistantÂ
Provide technical support for PeopleSoft modules
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidesÂ
Collaborate with developers, functional teams, and infrastructure teamsÂ
Qualifications
Required
Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)Â
3â7+ years of PeopleSoft administration experienceÂ
PeopleTools installation and configurationÂ
Web/application server administrationÂ
Integration Broker and process schedulingÂ
Hands-on experience with operating systems such as Linux or Windows ServerÂ
Experience with database platforms (Oracle, SQL Server)Â
Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuningÂ
Familiarity with shell scripting or automationÂ
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsÂ
Desired
Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades (PeopleTools and application upgrades)Â
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Cloud deployments or hosting modelsÂ
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or other cloud platformsÂ
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practicesÂ
Experience supporting high-availability environmentsÂ
Understanding of security best practices and compliance standardsÂ
Experience with Elastic Search in PeopleSoftÂ
Knowledge of PeopleSoft PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager)Â
Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Jenkins, etc.)Â
Basic SQL and performance tuning skillsÂ

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
