Responsibilities:
Leads complex acquisition initiatives, developing strategic approaches for identifying, evaluating, and securing critical materials and systems, integrating purchasing with logistics optimization.
Oversees the negotiation of vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms that address both cost-effectiveness and efficient transportation, packaging, and delivery requirements.
Designs and implements comprehensive logistics and shipping strategies for materials and systems across diverse and complex operational environments, including international movements and customs.
Conducts in-depth analysis of integrated purchasing and logistics performance, identifies bottlenecks, and recommends significant process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce supply chain risks.
Develops and maintains advanced inventory management systems, auditing procedures, and warehousing strategies to ensure accurate tracking, control, and viability of all materials.
Collaborates extensively with program management and technical teams to align purchasing and logistics solutions with project timelines, operational readiness, and resource allocation.
Provides expert guidance on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and best practices in integrated purchasing, logistics, and shipping.

Qualifications:
Required:Â
10 years' experience in DoD lifecycle logistics management
Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Business or equivalent
Role Specific Tools: SAP Ariba; Oracle Procurement Cloud; Coupa; Jaggaer; vendor compliance databases; inventory and warehouse management systems; ServiceNow procurement modules; SharePoint/Confluence repositories; predictive analytics engines for cost analysis.
Active TS/SCI clearance is required

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
