This position provides direct exposure to executive leadership, strategic decision-making, and operational execution at the highest levels of the firm and is designed as an apprenticeship for future business leaders.
As Chief of Staff, you will work alongside the CEO, President, and Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to drive strategic initiatives, manage key business processes, and ensure seamless coordination across leadership functions. You will gain a front-row seat to enterprise-wide operations, learning how to navigate board dynamics, executive decision-making, and cross-functional leadership.
This role is ideal for a recent master’s graduate or early-career professional (2-3 years out of undergrad), or Junior Military Leader with exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, who is eager to accelerate their path to leadership.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Board of Directors Support
Serve as the CEO’s point of contact for Board materials and content
Coordinate Board Committees, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration
Prepare and upload materials ensuring accuracy and completeness
Facilitate kickoff meetings, agenda setting, and advance scheduling for Board meetings
Manage advanced calendaring, seating arrangements for dinners & meetings, and overall logistics
Oversee conference room setup and technology readiness for Board meetings
Track and follow up on action items from Board discussions, ensuring alignment across the ELT
Business Reviews & Strategy Execution Support
Schedule and manage business review meetings, ensuring key stakeholders are informed
Consolidate presentations, metrics, and strategic insights for executive discussions
Publish action items and meeting minutes to ensure accountability
Facilitate firm-level lessons learned reviews, ensuring insights are effectively communicated
Support for CEO & Operating Segment Presidents
Ensure executives are fully prepared for meetings, providing pre-reads and executive summaries
Summarize key takeaways from pre-read materials and meetings for executive efficiency
Track action items, publish meeting minutes, and ensure follow-ups with key stakeholders
Coordinate ELT interactions and facilitate cross-functional alignment
Manage Town Hall Q&A tracking and follow-up coordination
Support partnership and leader engagements
Build executive profiles and briefing documents ahead of key meetings
Serve as a coordination point for internal communications across the ELT
Act as the go-to expert for internal presentations, ensuring clarity and executive-level impact
Schedule and coordinate key client, colleague, and carrier partner meetings
MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISORY SCOPE:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Early career professional – Recent master’s graduate or 2-3 years post-undergrad
Leadership and teamwork experience such as junior military leader (O-2, E-5), student athletes, and other extracurricular activities
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
High-potential early-career professional with a strategic mindset and strong analytical skills
Proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
Strong communicator with the ability to summarize information concisely and influence senior stakeholders
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and alignment in all deliverables
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights
Ability to summarize key points using a “bottom-line-up-front” approach
TECHNICAL, COMPUTER, SYSTEM SKILLS:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and executive-level presentation development
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Local to Tampa and available to be in-office 4-5 days per week (with flexibility for exceptions)
