TheEngineer, Cybersecurity Data Analyticsroleisresponsiblefordeliveringthe technologiesthat measure cybersecurity performance and enable continuous improvement.

This positionreports to theSr. Manager, Cyber Threat Engineering, and is a key role withinDanaher’s Global Cyber Defense team. Demonstrated engineeringproficiencymayoffer broadercybersecurity career advancementopportunities inautomation, orchestration, and agentic engineering.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Build and enhance operational reporting capabilitiesby designing, implementing, andmaintaininganalytics-ready datasetsoptimizedfor reporting and dashboards, as well as associatedprocesses that provide for on-demand andstatic security performance reporting.

• Develop knowledge andproficiencyin leading cybersecurity tools by designing, developing, andmaintainingscripts and custom dashboardsforsolutions such asCrowdStrike Falcon, Prisma / Cortex Cloud, MicrosoftInTuneand other M365 solutions.

• Partner withleadersto translatesecurity performance and governanceobjectivesintoclear,accuratemetrics; develop and present management reports totechnology leaders.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Minimum3-5years ofexperience indata analyticsengineering, reporting, or business intelligence.

• Proficiencydevelopingdata extract-transform-load(ETL)capabilitiesusingAPIsandSQL queries, as well as the underlyingdata models and structures; accelerates development using AI assistants and other technologies.

• Experience implementing andmaintainingon-demand and static reporting capabilities withPowerBIor similar solution.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel –Around 15%, overnight, within territory or locations

It would be a plus if you alsopossesspreviousexperience in:

• Functionalknowledge of Power BI architecture, including DirectQuery, Composite Models, Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), Dashboards.

• Developingintegrations,ETL and reporting functionality for a cybersecurity team using enterprise solutions from companies such asCrowdStrike, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks,Proofpoint,Splunk, and ServiceNow.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
