The cleanliness and overall enjoyment of a hotel pool are key reasons guests return and recommend our property to others. A guest’s experience at the pool is often one of the most memorable parts of their stay.
We are looking for an individual with a great personality and strong attention to detail to join our team as a part-time Pool Attendant. The ideal candidate will create a memorable guest experience through attentiveness and a commitment to maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-organized pool environment. A great pool team helps create lasting memories for our guests.
Essential Functions:
Engage with guests to ensure they are enjoying their experience
Work alongside your team to enhance the overall guest experience
Maintain an active presence in the pool area, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction
Work closely with Housekeeping to ensure towels are clean and readily available
Welcome arriving guests to the pool area, verify guest access, and assist with seating/setup
Clean all areas according to department standards and procedures
Set-up and break down the pool area to ensure smooth daily operations
Remove soiled linen and trash from service areas and dispose of them properly
Respond to guests and team members in friendly and helpful manner
Lead or instruct a movement-based or Hawaiian culture-based class
Perform other duties as assigned by management
What are we looking for?
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
High level of communication and customer service skills
Experienced in working in a team environment
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Preferred experience in wellness or fitness, with the ability to lead movement or pool-based classes
