Job Description Summary
This position is responsible for grading the finished product for all lines and communicating out of grade situations to Team Leader. Perform dispositions of out of grade product.
Job Description
Individuals in this position must:
Followsall plant safety policies and procedures
Actively involved in safety,participatesin safety programs, engaged in safety activities, performsriskassessments,anddemonstratesownership as well as leadership in personal safety and the safety of other team members
Trainsback-ups and new lab techs
Preforms daily filingand reviewof Q.A. data
Performsany special projects assigned
Alwaysmaintainsa neat and clean work areaandexhibitgood personal hygiene
Performsall other duties assigned/requested by Q.A. Manager and/or Supervisor
Followsgood housekeeping practices and GMP's
Wearsrequired PPE.
Activelyparticipatesin AMD activities
PerformsCCP checks for lineone and two
Performsquality grading checks on assigned line,typically 2 checks per houroutlined in training manual
Rotatesthrough all lab tech positions

Qualifications & Experience

Sanitationqualification isrequired. If you are not qualified, you will be trained.
Ability to accurately use the following equipment, and/or tools, including but not limitedto:blender, weighing apparatus, pipettes, grinder, fryers, microwave, length grader, thermometer,dicromat, Minolta,Agtron, silver nitrate, and NIR.
Must be able to use a computer for data entry, reportgenerationand research.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Read, understand, and obey all plant rules and practice safety as outlined inthe employee handbook.
Practice proper body mechanics and safe lifting techniques.
Be knowledgeable of the potential hazards and safety procedures associated with the task being performed.
Actively practice and abide by all Company work, safety, and personal hygiene rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook.
Mustbeable to work independently and as a team player, be organized, andplan
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)preferred.
LanguageSkills
Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English.
