The Senior Plant Human Resources Generalist is responsible for partnering with management, various departments, and team members to ensure successful planning, development, deployment, and evaluation of HR activities and initiatives.Job Description
Provides day-to-day business HRpartnershipandconsultationfor assigned functionalteam.
Participates in the implementation and maintenance of HR policies, practices, and procedures by providing professional and technicalassistanceto leadership and key stakeholders.
Assistsin driving business solutions through ad hoc reporting and analysis of HR statistics/data which may include team member turnover, job requisitions, new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, team member performance,and more.
Leads and supports Human Resource programs including but not limited to employment/unemployment, litigation, retention, termination, turnover, and severance.
Periodically audits andensuresaccuraterecordkeeping of HR systems and processes.Â
Conducts,assists, records, andfollows-up with employeeinvestigationmatters and the administration ofDisability and Workers Compensation claims.Â
Partners and collaborates on projects/programs with cross-functional HR peers, centers of excellence (COE), and business support functions including TalentManagement, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and Legal.
Ensures and supports HR compliance with local and statutory laws and regulations.
Collaborates with hiring teams on hiring goals, future talent pipelining, organizational development, and the administrative processing of job requisitions to meet business hiring needs.Â
Provides support and training for team members, supervisors, and managers which may include managing team member performance, employee relations, workplace training, and new hire training/onboarding.
Updates and manages team member information/bulletin boardsincludingcompany policy documents, announcements/events,benefitsdetails, and/or legally required notices.
Serves as the HR representative on assigned projects, committees, and community events.
May supervise or overseeadditionalHR team members as needed.
Leads HR initiatives, championschange,andgrows team member engagement to create a culture aligned with our values: Teamwork, Empowerment, Integrity, Inclusion, and a Drive for Results. Â
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelorâs degree in Human Resourcesor related fieldrequired.
Advanced degree or certification specific tohumanresourcespreferred.
Minimum5 years of professional experience inhumanresourcesrequired.
Priorworkexperienceensuring andsupporting HR compliance with local and statutory laws and regulationsrequired.
Experience withconducting workplace investigations and resolution of issuesrequired.
Priorworkexperience working with and/oroptimizingHuman Capital Management (HCM), timekeeping, payroll, or related systems preferred.Â
Impeccable attention to detail and organizationalskillsrequired.
Computerproficiencywith software systems including but not limited to Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) and/or other web-based applicationsrequired.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; Strong interpersonal skillsrequired.
Priorworkexperience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
