This role is part of a Software Development Engineering team focused on building and delivering innovative digital solutions for clinical research. The position is responsible for customizing and configuring applications to meet sponsor requirements, supporting the development of highly interactive mobile and web-based platforms used globally for clinical data acquisition and management.

Develop, deploy, and maintain software applications aligned with study specifications and integrate device data with backend databases
Participate in key decisions across the software development lifecycle for clinical trial applications
Contribute to project specifications, planning, and deployment scheduling
Deliver complex, customized client solutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams
Conduct peer code reviews across varying complexity levels to ensure quality and adherence to standards
Write clean, accurate, and maintainable code following established best practices
Communicate timelines, scope, risks, and technical decisions effectively to stakeholders
Collaborate closely with Design, Quality, Translations, and Project Management teams
Investigate and resolve production issues as an escalation point for technical challenges
Identify risks, requirement gaps, and technical limitations early and communicate proactively
Participate in training initiatives across teams to improve delivery and understanding of development processes
Continuously improve technical and professional skills through ongoing development
Adhere to Clario Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory expectations
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5 years of experience in software development
Proven expertise in developing web and/or mobile applications
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices
Experience integrating applications with backend systems and databases
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
