The HVAC/R Tech will assist with maintenance or other requests, identifying and correcting the problems with HVAC/R equipment. Ā Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Status: Full Time
Availability:1st shift
Payrate: $22.00 per hour.
Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center
Completes work orders submitted for HVAC/R equipment within the property.Ā Confers with Sr. HVAC/R Tech on issues unable to be resolved.
Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
Performs duty rounds by using daily checklists.Ā Reports on and corrects noted problems.
Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplished assigned work orders, and does all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.
Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems. (training provided).
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.Ā Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system. Ā Training provided.
Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.

What are we looking for?
QUALIFICATIONS
Two yearsā building maintenance experience required.
One year experience in HVAC/R repairs or HVAC/R school certification required.
EPA CFC Type I and Type II required.Ā Universal preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and plumbing blueprints.
Skilled with using tools required in this trade.
Texas Driverās License with good driving record preferred.
