As a Staff PM at IAS, you will own the entire tag lifecycle: from initial creation in our Signal UI to trafficking, wrapping, and final execution. Your mission is to transform our tagging engine into a "zero-edit" solution—ensuring that the tags we generate are so robust and well-structured that
customers never need to manually modify them. You will sit at the center of the programmatic ecosystem, ensuring our measurement and blocking technology executes flawlessly across all media types and environments.
Your goal is to make IAS integration "invisible." By perfecting the tag structure and automating the lifecycle, you will ensure our technology provides world-class measurement and protection without a single line of code ever being touched by the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-End Lifecycle Ownership: Define the product vision for the complete tagging journey: Creation (Signal UI), Trafficking (workflow automation), Wrapping (Ad Server integration), and Execution (runtime performance).
* Zero-Edit UI Strategy: Evolve the Signal UI to generate production-ready tags. You will identify technical edge cases that currently require manual edits and build automated features to eliminate that friction for our clients.
* Standardization & Wrapping: Develop a unified tag and wrapper architecture for Display, Video, and Audio. Ensure that IAS wrappers are "plug-and-play" within major Ad Servers and performant across the global supply chain.
* Execution Integrity: Ensure every tag performs its monitoring and blocking duties perfectly. You will be responsible for minimizing discrepancies and ensuring reliability across Publishers, SSPs, and DSPs.
* Industry Leadership: Serve as the subject matter expert on IAB and MRC standards. Drive the adoption of OM SDK and VAST 4.x while strategically managing the transition away from legacy protocols.
Technical Qualifications:
* JavaScript Execution Mastery: Deep technical knowledge of how JavaScript executes in the wild. This includes a thorough understanding of the event loop, asynchronous loading, and script execution within sandboxed iframes and cross-domain environments.
* AdTech Architecture: Expert-level understanding of programmatic "plumbing." You should be intimately familiar with how tags are ingested by DSPs, passed through SSPs, and finally rendered by Ad Servers or Publisher players.
* Standards & Protocols: Expert fluency in VAST, VPAID, and OM SDK. You understand the nuances of how these protocols operate across Web, Mobile App, and CTV environments.
* Customer Obsession & Empathy: A relentless focus on the end-user experience. You are driven to uncover the "why" behind customer pain points and have a proven track record of transforming complex client feedback into streamlined, automated product features.
* Product Scaling: 8+ years of experience in technical Product Management, with a track record of building UI-driven tools that simplify complex developer or operations workflows.
You should apply if you have most of this experience:
● 10+ years of product management experience in fast-moving B2B SaaS environment
● Must have AdTech or related industry experience with a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a STEM related field
● Strong ability to navigate ambiguous, high-growth environments where proactive decision-making and execution drive impact
● Experience working on new tech products where you engage in product/feature architecture decisions
● Proven ability to collaborate with engineering leads and hold teams to a high standard for product solutions, identifying when technical design decisions may limit performance, scalability, or future innovation
● Experience driving adoption of innovative solutions, making features accessible and coordinating marketing and sales to drive customer acquisition, leveraging product signals and data-driven decision-making
● Proven ability to drive execution and strategy simultaneously, making clear priority decisions and aligning stakeholders across the business
● Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, commercial teams, and leadership
● Experience working on high-performance distributed systems, API integrations, and UX optimization for customer growth is a plus
IAS Pay Transparency:
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location, and any additional locations are listed below. Our pay ranges are based on the work location. As part of IAS compensation package, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, health insurance (medical, dental, vision) as well as PPO, HSA and FSA options and 401k with employer matching contributions. All full-time employee roles include competitive compensation and are eligible for an annual bonus and/or other incentive plans. Each candidate’s compensation package is based on multiple factors, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need.
