Your Role: Quantexa Developer / Contextual Analytics Engineer
Design, develop, and deploy data ingestion pipelines to populate theQuantexaplatform with data from diverse internal and external sources (e.g., transactions, KYC data, corporate hierarchies, external watchlists).
Configure and tune the Entity Resolution engine to create a single, trusted view of customers, organizations, and counterparties across global data landscapes.
Develop and implement contextual monitoring scenarios and analytics models to detect complex, multi-stage money laundering schemes and other financial crimes.
Hands-on experience with the Quantexaplatform and its Entity Resolution and Network Generation capabilities.
Skills in building contextual views for Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and KYC.
Experience developing and tuning scenarios for AML and Fraud detection.
Data integration skills (SQL, etc.) to feed data into theQuantexacontext.
Data Integration & Engineering:
Work closely with Data Engineering teams to ensure the availability, quality, and timeliness of data feeds into theQuantexaplatform, potentially integrating with cloud data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
Develop and optimize data models withinQuantexato support advanced network analysis and graph-based analytics.
Solution Development & Automation:
Build and customize components within theQuantexaplatform to support the end-to-end investigation workflow,leveragingits capabilities for automated investigations.
Develop utilities and scripts to extend platform functionality, automate data quality checks, and streamline operational processes.
Utilize the platform's APIs to integrateQuantexa'srisk intelligence into downstream case management systems and reporting tools.
Analytics & Continuous Improvement:
Analyze the performance of detection scenarios, focusing on reducing falsepositivesand improving the accuracy of true positive alerts.
Collaborate with AML Analysts and Compliance SMEs to translate emerging financial crime typologies into new, quantifiable detection logic within the platform.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data flows, entity resolution logic, scenario configurations, and the overall solution architecture.
The Profile We’re Looking For: 3+ years of hands-on experience with theQuantexaContextual Decision Intelligence (CDI) platform, specifically in implementation, configuration, and data integration.
Proven experience in configuring Entity Resolution rules and understanding the concepts behind the Entity Lab.
Scala and/or Java (core languages forQuantexadevelopment).
Python for data manipulation and analytics.
SQL(Mandatory)and experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark).
Java or Python (Highly desirable for customization)
Unix/Linux command line.
Solid understanding of AML/CFT concepts, including customer risk rating, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity detection.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of the banking and financial services domain, especially compliance regulations.
Highly Desirable:
Experience integratingQuantexawith cloud data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Synapse.
Knowledge of graph theory and network analysis concepts.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Familiarity with the end-to-end AML investigation process and case management systems.
Experience in a large, global financial institution.
