What Youâll Do:
Drive domain curation and metadata quality
Lead curation for assigned domains to ensure the business glossary, key datasets, and lineage are accurate, complete, and aligned to governance standards
Apply consistent curation methods to keep definitions, ownership, and critical metadata current as the environment evolves
Strengthen the catalog experience
Configure and refine catalog assets such as term hierarchies, classifications, and policies, and recommend structural improvements to make the catalog easier to use and more intuitive
Help stakeholders find the âright dataâ faster by improving clarity, context, and metadata completeness
Enable stewardship and scale adoption
Create and deliver steward training, and develop practical SOPs and playbooks that make governance easier to execute and sustain
Consolidate curation metrics, track progress, and help guide backlog grooming with domain stewards to focus effort where it matters most
Accelerate outcomes with automation (without needing to code)
Identify recurring pain points and help shape automation opportunities (e.g., bulk onboarding, lineage harvesting, metadata quality checks)
Partner with a dedicated automation/engineering teamâtranslating needs into clear requirements and helping validate outcomesâso improvements are scalable and sustainable
Operate effectively across teams
Build alignment across a matrixed organization by being a trusted partner to data owners, stewards, analysts, engineers, and product teams
Bring structure to ambiguity: translate business language into metadata that is consistent, searchable, and reusable
Occasional collaboration across global hours or minimal travel may be needed depending on business needs.
