The District Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for addressing and correcting technically challenging maintenance requirements or tasks, as required. Train associates on non-routine maintenance items, as needed or required. This position will cover Goodyear's plants in the west US.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct training for associates on technically challenging maintenance items to ensure that all operators are proficient on non-routine maintenance responsibilities and best practices.
Inspect all machinery on a regular basis to ensure that it is completely operational, all safeguards are in place and that everything is in good repair.Repair, rebuild and calibrate all equipment as needed.
Act as a troubleshooting resource for all CTSC retread facilities. Utilize technical expertise to ensure retread manufacturing equipment is running efficiently and at optimum output.Safely perform maintenance tasks on time and on budget, communicate expectations to key stakeholders, deliver maintenance expectations on time, and on budget.
Manage installation activities by coordinating plant resources and outside vendors to safely and effectively install plant equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree or 8 years equivalent experience.
Must have 3 years equipment maintenance experience.
Extensive experience with electricity, plumbing, hydraulics and pneumatics.
General knowledge of PLC, PC and automatic equipment operation and repair.
Previous experience in the hands-on repair of production equipment.
