Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate withalgorithm development teamsto elicit, analyze, and document software requirements.
Use advanced techniques like interviews, workshops, and document reviews to gather comprehensive requirements.
Analyze requirements for feasibility, completeness, and consistency.
Develop andmaintaindetailed requirement specifications.
Model-Based Development:
Utilize MATLAB to create andmaintainsystem models, including block diagrams andstatecharts.
Develop and execute simulations tovalidatesystem behavior and performance.
Ensure traceability between requirements and system models.
Requirement Management:
EmployPolarionor similar tools to manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
Trackrequirementschanges, prioritize tasks, and ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with development teams, including algorithm developers, to ensure requirements are accurately implemented.
Testing and Verification:
Develop test cases based on requirements.
Participate in testing activities to ensure software meets specified requirements.
Analyze test results andidentifydefects.
Documentation:
Create andmaintaincomprehensive software documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and design documents.
Ensure documentation is clear,accurate, andup-to-date.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, ora relatedfield.
Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
Proficiencyin MATLAB, including model-based design and simulation techniques.
Experience withPolarionor similar requirement management tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
Knowledge of software testing tools and techniques.
Familiarity with industry standards like DO-178B/C or IEC 61508.
