Role Overview
The Clinical Success Specialist Supervisor plays a key leadership role within the Spark and Digital Orthodontics business unit at Envista. This position oversees a team of Clinical Success Specialists who serve as primary clinical partners for new and existing Spark providers. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high‑quality onboarding experiences, driving product adoption, and elevating clinical excellence across the region. This position requires a strong clinical background, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate a matrixed environment while delivering impactful leadership and operational discipline.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Clinical Success Specialists, fostering continuous growth, skill development, and clinical excellence.
- Oversee individual and team performance to ensure achievement of key success metrics, delivering regular feedback, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Manage team workload, resource allocation, and capacity planning to ensure consistent, high-quality support for customers.
- Ensure consistent execution of the Clinical Excellence Program and monitor progress to achieve departmental and regional goals.
- Utilize EBS tools and methodologies to identify opportunities for operational efficiency, implement improvements, and standardize best practices.
- Collaboratively onboard, train, and mentor new team members to ensure strong integration into clinical, operational, and cross-functional processes.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Training teams to align priorities, share insights, and drive seamless customer support.
- Manage clinical escalations and guide team members in delivering expert clinical advice, driving positive patient outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Model and reinforce CIRCLe values through daily leadership behaviors, team engagement, and decision-making.
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Dentistry, Dental Surgery, or Dental Medicine or Equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a clinical or technical team.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, performance evaluation, and professional development of direct reports.
- Ability to manage workload distribution, set priorities, and ensure team delivery against KPIs.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time, including internationally
- Experience using data to drive decision‑making, analyze team performance, and identify improvement areas.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve escalations and support clinicians in complex cases.
- Experience collaborating with sales, training, R&D, product, and global clinical teams to align strategies and drive adoption.
- Ability to lead cross-regional initiatives and represent the clinical function in leadership discussions.
- Experience leading projects, implementing new processes, or managing change within a clinical or technical environment.
- Ability to coordinate training initiatives, onboarding programs, and continuous education for the CSS team.
- Experience ensuring clinical excellence, service quality, and adherence to regulatory or internal compliance standards.
- Ability to review and manage customer insights, escalations, and critical feedback to enhance service quality
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Advanced experience in treating patients with clear aligner systems, including complex case planning, troubleshooting, and clinical optimization strategies.
- Proven leadership experience in supervising or mentoring clinical, technical, or customer-facing teams within the dental or orthodontic field.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision‑making skills, with experience using dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to manage teams and drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated success in customer success, clinical education, preferably within a digital orthodontics or medical device environment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, R&D, and Product to support launching initiatives, improve workflows, and drive adoption.
- Strong project management capabilities, including planning, prioritizing, and executing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) with an emphasis on reporting, documentation, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Experience supporting regional teams, adapting strategies to local clinical practices, customer segments, and market needs.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence clinicians and internal stakeholders at different levels.
