About the role
As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the oversight of timelines, milestone and financials throughout the project lifecycle.
Working directly with clients and other stakeholders across the business matrix, you'll provide leadership to the respective project team(s), managing expectations effectively and ensuring quality and performance standards are reflected and project outcomes are consistently achieved.
Project management
ā Takes full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation andĀ satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects (typically with directĀ business impact and firm deadlines).Ā
ā Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project.Ā
ā Ensures that realistic project plans are maintained and ensures regular andĀ accurate communication to stakeholders.Ā
ā Adopts appropriate project management methods and tools whether predictiveĀ (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
ā Ensures Quality reviews occur on schedule and according to procedure.
ā Manages the change control procedure and ensures that project deliverablesĀ are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and areĀ signed off.Ā
ā Provides effective leadership to the project team and takes appropriate actionĀ where team performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
Release & deployment
ā Uses the tools and techniques for specific areas of release and deploymentĀ activities. Administers the recording of activities, logging of results andĀ documents technical activity undertaken.
ā May carry out early life support activities such as providing support advice toĀ initial users.
Change management
ā Assesses, analyses, develops, documents and implements changes based onĀ requests for change.
Business risk
ā Investigates and reports on hazards and potential risk events within a specificĀ function or business area.
Financial management
ā Monitors and maintains all required financial records for compliance and auditĀ to all agreed requirements.Ā
ā Assists all other areas of IT with their financial tasks, especially in the areasĀ of identification of process, service, project and component costs and theĀ calculation and subsequent reduction of all IT service, project, component andĀ process failures.Ā
ā Contributes to financial planning and budgeting.
ā Collates required financial data and reports for analysis and to facilitateĀ decision making.
ā Works to ensure that all project related financial requirements are understoodĀ and achieved.
Relationship management
ā Implements stakeholder engagement/communications plan.Ā
ā Deals with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions,Ā lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.
ā Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measureĀ effectiveness of stakeholder management.Ā
ā Helps develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships.

Knowledge and Experience
ā Experience using tools to communicate progress to Stakeholders
ā Experience of working with cloud deployment of enterprise solutions to the life sciences
ā Experience of working with cloud deployment of Regulatory enterprise solutions
ā Understanding of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum), UML, Object Orientated, Data Modelling, ProcessĀ Modelling and/or other development methodologies
ā Experience of working in and knowledge of the life sciences and regulatory sectors,Ā
ā Solid Professional experience in the same or very similar role
ā Proven working experience of project management methodologies (such as Prince2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma)
ā Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline (Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or a related study, orĀ equivalent project-related experience
ā English: Fluent
