The opening of Bass Pro Shopsâ newest location will be the companyâs 5thin the great state of New York, serving the entire Finger Lakes Region. This Outpost location will continue the companyâs reputation of serving the passionate sportsmen and women in the state with the widest selection of quality products at the best prices around while providing genuine, friendly expert service.
The new Bass Pro Shops Outpost is planned for a 90,000-square-foot location at the Eastview Mall, at 7979 Pittsford Victor Road (Route 96), easily accessible from Interstate 90 and 490. It is expected to open late 2026.
Whether itâs taking a hike on one of the picturesque trails and seeking adventures throughout the Finger Lakes region, exploring the wooded hillside scene and wetland areas in Fishers Park, or seeking out the wildlife or fishing at Lehigh Crossing Park, Bass Pro Shops and its team of expert Outfitters will be ready to help make outdoor dreams come true.

GEAR YOUâLL NEED:
Trail TestedExperience:5+ years of experience in high-volume, big-box retail management.Multi-unit,districtor regionalleadership experience is a major plus.
Sharp Eye for Business: Skilled in reading reports, managing performance metrics, and making data-driven decisions.Solid understanding of sales metrics, financial reports, and performance drivers.
People Leadership:Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Savvy:Comfortable using point-of-sale systems, spreadsheets, inventory tools, and Microsoft Office programs.
Clear Communication: Excellent verbal & written communication, with the ability to leadmeetings &coach teams
Presentation Skills:Ability to lead meetings, engage large teams, and representthebrand professionally.
THE TERRAIN:
This role requires a hands-on leaderwhoâscomfortable on their feet, engaging with teams and customers.Youâlloccasionallylift upto 50 lbs., climb ladders, work outdoors, and be exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels.
