The role
Weâre looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Platform team and play a key role in building, scaling and operating highly available, secure and costâeffective systems.
In this role, youâll apply strong systems thinking and deep technical expertise to design scalable cloud platforms, drive DevOps best practices, and mentor engineers across the organisation. Youâll influence architectural decisions, lead crossâteam initiatives, and ensure our platforms are reliable, observable and secure.

What you'll be doing
- Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture: Design and operate scalable, secure and costâefficient cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes and Azure
- Automation & CI/CD: Build, own and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation platforms that enable teams to selfâserve
- AI & Agentic Systems: Support AI and ML workloads, including infrastructure for model serving, inference and autonomous agents
- Monitoring & Observability: Establish strong monitoring, logging and incident response practices across complex platforms
- Security & Governance: Embed security, access controls and governance across infrastructure and AI/ML pipelines
- Technical Leadership: Mentor engineers, lead crossâteam initiatives and influence platform architecture and DevOps best practices
What you'll need to succeed
- Kubernetes: Hands-on production experience (required) â deployments, operators, networking, resource management
- Infrastructure as Code: Extensive, proven experience with Terraform at scale; ability to design reusable, maintainable patterns
- Cloud Platforms: Deep hands-on Azure experience; demonstrable expertise in VNets, peering, private endpoints, security groups, managed services
- Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash; ability to write clean, maintainable automation code
- CI/CD Pipelines: Strong, hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting deployment pipelines; hands-on with both Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions required
- Cloud Networking: Strong fundamentals â DNS, firewalls, WAF, load balancing, hub-and-spoke architectures, network security
- A securityâfirst mindset with experience in access control and governance
- Comfort working with AI and ML infrastructure, or a strong desire to grow in this space
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction
- A collaborative approach and passion for building reliable, scalable platforms
