What You Need to Know:  

As a Stock InventoryWarehouseAssistant, you will receive and process department orders to ensure the collection of blood supplies, from a central warehouse location. In this role you will perform basic receiving and shipping duties to stock and process blood-product supplies; arrange and trouble-shoot deliverylogisticstofrom our blood collection sites.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Assistwith the receiving and shipment of totes to the sites we support 

• Assistand work with warehouse staff.Cross-trainstaff where possible to ensure department coverage

• Work with and help coordinate with our volunteer partners whoassistin the kitting operation.

• Inspect,verifyand reportdiscrepancies/damagedofmaterials and supplies against receiving documents. Store and stack materialstoprescribed methods.
  Fulfill daily customer orders, prepare transportation documents, delivermaterialsand supplies to end user and/or departments

• Operate Power Industrial Trucks (PIT) such as electric pallet jacks and various forklift equipment. 

• Mayassistwith systemwide electronic computer inventory management system data entry, reporting functions, and with electronic inventory reconciliation process.

Standard Schedule: This is a first shift position working 6:30am - 3:00pm.

Pay Information: The pay rate is $16.32 per hour.

What you Need to Succeed: 

• Education: High School or equivalent required.

• Experience: Up to one-yearrelatedexperience.Warehouse relatedexperience or trainingrequired, preferably with an automated system.

• Basic reading, writing,communications,and math skillsrequired. Knowledge of general office procedures and practices is preferred. 

• Maybe requiredto be certified inforkliftoperation. 

• Validdriver's license andcleanDMV record may berequired. 

• Ability to work on a team.

Physical Requirements: 
Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel,reach withhands andarmsand talk or hear. Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbsfrequently; lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. withassistanceor the use of a powered industrial truck. Frequently required to push carts weighing up to 250 pounds on flat flooring or ramps. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb ladders or balance. Specific vision abilitiesrequiredfor this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depthperceptionand ability to adjust and focus.
